Frequently Asked Questions

Our FAQs are here to help you plan your booking with confidence. Whether you are organising a birthday party, school fun day, community event or seasonal celebration, these answers cover the questions we are asked most often about delivery, setup, safety, suitability and booking. If you need more detail, we have also linked to some of our newer help pages throughout.

Q: Where do you deliver to?

A: We deliver across Co Armagh and Co Down, including Lurgan, Portadown, Craigavon, Dromore, Banbridge, Bleary, Moira, Donaghcloney and Waringstown. If your postcode does not appear when booking, please contact us for a delivery quote.

Q: How far in advance should I book?

A: We recommend booking as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed, especially for summer weekends, school holidays and December. Popular items and peak dates can book up quickly. You can read more on our How Far in Advance Should I Book guide.

Q: Do you have bouncy castles suitable for toddlers or under-5s?

A: Yes. We have toddler-friendly options including the Paw Patrol Mini Kidz Inflatable Play Zone (13.5ft x 16.5ft), the Ocean Junior Activity Bouncy Castle & Slide Combi Play Zone, and soft play sets such as the Unicorn Soft Play with Ball Pool & Mats (19 pieces) and Dinosaur Soft Play with Ball Pool (19 pieces). For more ideas, see Toddler Party Ideas That Actually Work.

Q: Can I book a full party setup with soft play, a castle and extras?

A: Yes. Many customers hire a bouncy castle, soft play and extras together. We also supply the Candy Floss Machine, Event Gazebo (10ft x 10ft / 3m x 3m) and Generator to help complete the setup.

Q: Which inflatables are best for schools or larger events?

A: For school fun days and larger events, our Obstacle Courses are always popular, including the Energy Assault Course (35ft), Big Rex Dino Assault Course (33ft) and Tractor Assault Course (30ft). We also supply Demolition Ball Inflatable (20ft x 18ft) and Rock n Roller Gladiator Duel for larger public events. You may also find our How to Plan a School Fun Day guide useful.

Q: Do you supply power if there is no electricity on site?

A: Yes. If your venue does not have access to mains power, we can provide a Generator or Generator depending on the equipment booked.

Q: Can your inflatables fit inside halls or indoor venues?

A: Many of them can, but it depends on the available floor space and ceiling height. Indoor-friendly options include the Disco Club Bouncy Castle (12ft x 12ft) and Jungle Bouncy Castle (12ft x 12ft). We recommend checking venue measurements before booking. See Indoor vs Outdoor Inflatable Hire and What Size Bouncy Castle Do I Need for more guidance.

Q: Do you offer themed bouncy castles with popular characters?

A: Yes. We have a wide range of themed inflatables including the Peppa Pig Bouncy Castle & Slide Combo, Disney Princess Box Jump & Slide Bouncy Castle Combo, Unicorn Bouncy Castle (12ft X 12ft), T-Rex Dinosaur Bouncy Castle & Slide Combo (15ft x 12ft) and the Paw Patrol Gold Package.

Q: Do you provide staff to supervise inflatables?

A: We can provide Staff Supervisors for school fun days, council events and larger public bookings. For smaller private parties, a responsible adult must supervise at all times. More detail is available on Do I Need a Supervisor for My Event.

Q: Can adults use the inflatables?

A: Most of our inflatables are for children only. The only inflatables suitable for adult use are Foot Darts Kick n Stick and Penalty Shootout. Please see What Adults Can and Cannot Do on Inflatables and Who Can Use Which Inflatables for full guidance.

Q: What is the difference between a combo unit and a standard bouncy castle?

A: A standard bouncy castle is mainly for bouncing, while a combo unit includes extra features such as a slide or activity area. For example, the Unicorn Bouncy Castle & Slide Combo (15ft x 12ft) offers more variety than a standard bounce-only inflatable.

Q: Can I hire inflatables during the winter months?

A: Yes. We hire all year round. Indoor bookings are especially popular during autumn and winter, and we also offer festive products through our Christmas Parties range.

Q: How do I pay for my hire items?

A: A deposit of £10 per item is required for online bookings, with the remaining balance due on the day of the event unless otherwise agreed.

Q: What happens if bad weather affects my booking?

A: If bad weather affects your booking on the day, we will advise you based on safety and conditions. In cases where inflatables cannot go ahead due to unsuitable weather, we provide a full refund on the morning of the booking. Our Wet Weather Event Planning guide explains more.

Q: How long can I keep the hire items?

A: Delivery is usually made earlier in the day, with collection later the same day. If you need the equipment for longer, please mention this when booking as it may affect the price.

Q: Can bouncy castles be set up indoors?

A: Yes, many can, as long as the venue has enough floor space and ceiling height. Please check the listed dimensions for the inflatable you want to hire. Our Indoor vs Outdoor Inflatable Hire guide can help.

Q: What age groups are suitable for bouncy castle use?

A: Each inflatable has a recommended age range, and this should always be followed for safety and insurance purposes. You can read more on Who Can Use Which Inflatables.

Q: Is a slightly sloped garden acceptable for setup?

A: A slight slope can sometimes be suitable, usually with the entrance positioned at the top of the slope. If the slope is too steep, we may need an alternative location for safety reasons.

Q: Can I save money by collecting the inflatable myself?

A: No. For safety and insurance reasons, we do not allow customer collection. All inflatables must be delivered, installed and checked by our team.

Q: Can inflatables be set up on a hard surface outdoors?

A: Sometimes, but this depends on the surface, the weather and the type of inflatable. Hard surfaces need extra consideration because anchoring options are more limited. Please ask us in advance so we can advise properly.

Q: Do you offer flexible delivery times?

A: We try to work around your event timings wherever possible. Delivery times are arranged during the booking process, and we will confirm a suitable window in advance. Our What to Expect on the Day of Delivery guide explains how delivery and collection work.

Q: How should I prepare the site before delivery?

A: Please make sure the setup area is clear, accessible and large enough for the equipment ordered. We also need a safe route to carry equipment to the setup area. For sizing help, please see What Size Bouncy Castle Do I Need.

Q: Who needs to supervise the inflatable during use?

A: A responsible adult aged 18 or over must supervise the inflatable at all times unless you have booked our Staff Supervisors service.

Q: Can the inflatable be moved after setup?

A: No. Once installed, the inflatable must stay in position and remain secured until collection.

Q: Are food and drinks allowed on the inflatable?

A: No. Food and drinks must be kept away from the inflatable to avoid mess, damage and choking risks.

Q: What should users remove before going on the equipment?

A: Shoes, jewellery, badges and spectacles should be removed before use. High heels must not be worn on mats, and sharp objects should be kept away from the equipment.

Q: How many users are allowed on at once?

A: This depends on the age and size of the users and the inflatable itself. Please follow the information displayed on the inflatable and any guidance given at setup.

Q: Are balloons, party poppers or face paint allowed?

A: No. Balloons, party poppers, silly string, streamers, henna and face paint should not be used on or near the equipment because they can damage surfaces and create safety issues.

Q: What inflatable is best for a birthday party at home?

A: Popular choices include the Superhero Bouncy Castle (15ft x 12ft), Unicorn Bouncy Castle (12ft X 12ft) and Disco Club Bouncy Castle (12ft x 12ft). If you need help choosing, our How to Choose the Right Inflatable for Your Event guide is a good place to start.

Q: Which inflatables are best for toddlers and younger children?

A: For toddlers and pre-school children, we recommend the Paw Patrol Mini Kidz Inflatable Play Zone (13.5ft x 16.5ft), Unicorn Soft Play with Ball Pool & Mats (19 pieces) and Dinosaur Soft Play with Ball Pool (19 pieces).

Q: Do you offer anything for mixed-age family parties?

A: Yes. Mixed-age events often work best with a combination of children’s inflatables and football games such as Foot Darts Kick n Stick and Penalty Shootout, which adults can use too.

Q: Which products are best for halls or indoor venues?

A: Indoor-friendly options include the Jungle Bouncy Castle (12ft x 12ft), Peppa Pig Bouncy Castle & Slide Combo, soft play, and low-height inflatables. Suitable venues can include places such as Mahon Sports/Scout Hall, Scotch Street Youth Club and The Jethro Centre.

Q: Do you have any eye-catching inflatables for bigger events?

A: Yes. Popular choices include the 3D Disco Combi Bouncy Castle (15ft x 12ft), Magic Unicorn MultiPlay Bouncy Castle, Shark Bouncy Castle & Slide Combo, Demolition Ball Inflatable (20ft x 18ft) and Energy Assault Course (35ft).

Q: Which Christmas products do you offer?

A: Our festive range includes the Christmas Curved 3D Bounce & Slide Bouncy Castle, Ice Princess Bouncy Castle & Slide Combo (18ft x 13ft), Snow Globe Inflatable, Santa's Christmas Log Cabin Grotto and Santa's Deluxe Grotto Winter Wonderland Special.

Q: Can Christmas inflatables be used indoors?

A: Many of them can, depending on venue height and space. School halls and community centres are often suitable for Christmas setups.

Q: Are your inflatables safe for children?

A: Yes. Our equipment is cleaned before hire, checked regularly, and set up by our team. Where required, inflatables are PIPA-tested and fully insured. For more detail, see What Is PIPA Testing and Why Does It Matter and How We Keep Equipment Clean and Safe.

Q: Can you supply gazebos and power for outdoor events?

A: Yes. We can supply Event Gazebos and generator hire for outdoor events where shelter or power is needed.

Q: Can water be used on the equipment?

A: No. Water or other liquids should not be poured or sprayed onto the equipment unless the product is specifically designed for that purpose.

Q: What safety precautions apply to slides?

A: Safety mats should be placed correctly, and users must go down one at a time, feet first and seated. Climbing the side walls is not allowed.

Q: What weather conditions are unsafe for inflatables?

A: Inflatables must not be used in winds or gusts over 24mph, during thunderstorms, or in other unsafe conditions such as very heavy rain.

Q: What general safety rules apply?

A: No smoking, barbecues, glass or animals near the equipment. The blower vent must be kept clear at all times, and users must follow the rules given at setup.
